I dont think anyone would actualy have the lack of common sence, or is that much not integrated into his or her sociaty that he or she would defend a man who raped a child.
Sure some people are so corrupted that they would defend individuals representing their own political position, despite of whatever crime was comited by that individual.

But child rape? That "journalist" or mouthpiece would disapear out of the puplic`s field of view.

You've underestimated Fox News. In their eyes, a Republican can do no wrong (and if he does, it's a democrats fault) and a Democrat can do no right (but if he does, it was because a Republican helped him). And, yes, they don't hesitate to compare us to countries like Saudi Arabia when it suits their agenda; I've lost count the number of times they compared us to 'the terrorists' when it was disovered we were torturing prisoners.
