You know? I was going to ignore this, but WTH?!
Did you read it of a 2000 year old book?
What makes you trust that book?
Clearly, there are people who don't trust it. Have you ever considered these may be on to something?
Did you read it of a 2000 year old book?
You see where this is going?
Why do you compare a god to a parent?

This world managed to work quite well without humans for millions and millions of years. Humans came in and managed to stay alive without gods. In 1500, the europeans "discovered" Brazil. People were already settled there. They were natives... and, most notably, they were atheists. They had no concept of god. And yet, they survived and thrived until 1500CE! Still think people don't stand a chance on their own?
If it's anything like Drich's dream, it will be met with "it's just a dream".
If it's some cancer that went away after the doctor saying the person had a few months to live, it will be met with "that person falls on the tail of the distribution that doctors use to measure how long patients have to live, on average".
If you present a hallucination, it will be met with "psychotic episode".
etc...
Ultimately, they all derive from your indoctrination, even if it wasn't a standard active indoctrination.
Imagine, you had been born in a Hindu area of the globe. All your miracles would have an explanation stemming from Hindu mythology.
The same goes had you been indoctrinated in another religious view.
And, had you been born in a completely atheist upbringing, you'd see things skeptically as well.
Now tell me how wrong I am.
