Christians celebrate rape, torture, slavery and genocide.

I want to suggest that Ryantology put Christians here to the test and show an actual verse from the bible that says anything remotely like torture/rape/genocide is good and must be celebrated.

Example

Book, Chapter, Verse.

"And God said thou shalt celebrate rape torture slavery"

Then....
Pop quiz for John V, Drich, Godschild, Lion IRC, CliveStaples, A Theist, Tnmusicman, Jeffonthenett, Atomic, etc.

Do you agree with that verse - Yes or No.
Do you like that verse - Yes or No.
Do you agree that verse applies to Christians - Yes or No.

How hilariously predictable. I don't really need to cite a verse with that specific statement, because you are required, as a basic article of faith, to accept God's works as good and righteous. If you do, you celebrate his crimes. There is no escaping that.

But, I accept the challenge nonetheless.

  The "word of the LORD" includes such lovely nuggets as "Anyone who works on the Sabbath must be put to death. (Exodus 31:15)", "Prepare a place to slaughter his children for the sins of their ancestors (Isaiah 14:21)" and " When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property. (Exodus 21:20-21)". Perfect and flawless!

It is therefore obvious that God demands the glorification of slaughter and torture by his followers. I have no doubt you will try to rationalize all of it.
