You're right. Something doesn't come from nothing. Everything comes from prior conditions of something else. The stage was never empty. If anything can always have been, I choose matter/energy/time/space in all its manifestations rather than something as suspect as gods which may only have ever existed in the mind of man as far as anyone can show.

Oh hate to disappoint you but there are no doctrines of atheism that I've ever heard of. What there is is a complete lack of viable evidence for gods. I don't not believe in gods for a reason. I just don't believe in anything for which I have neither motivation nor evidence to believe. You are obviously a motivated believer. I have no problem with that. However your motivation doesn't inspire me and your arguments are laughable.
