An atheist is someone that takes his culturally constructed world very, very seriously. It is not surprising that you would be offended.
An atheist is someone who doesn't believe in god, full stop. The various ways that such a simple concept is so consistently abused has amazed me from my first day here and will likely continue to amaze me until my final day here.
