The coding and framework of what and who we are, they look into it and seek out specific markers and compare them to behavioral patterns [in this case sexual alignment]. That's not anecdotal. That's concrete. There's a reason DNA testing, when admissable in a court of law, is pretty much the trump card of any prosecution or defense; because it doesn't lie. It's like looking at a computer program's programming and being able to determine what functions do what: You look at DNA and you can be extremely positive of quite a bit regarding the programming of the individual before you as long as you compare what the programming tells you with the way the individual behaves. Repeated studies showing the same results over and over and over and over is EXTREMELY clear proof. How do you NOT get that? Are you just dense or something? Is being shown a pattern repeating 25+ times not enough to convince you? Do you also need an unsubstantiated holy book or something? Maybe a personal and unique gut feeling to really find it true?
If so your life must be unbelievably indecisive and empty.
Perhaps you don't understand the nature of psychiatry. Observation of behavior, yeah. Once DNA comes into play, it becomes the realm of medical science. What's going to happen when/if someone does find the "gay gene"? DO we offer a cure for homosexuality?
Fuck the APA!
