That being said, as a non-lawyer, I prefer to fight legal battles by engaging those who know what they are doing, i.e., lawyers. One could also hire their own attorney but the cost is prohibitive for all but the smallest of matters. Organizations exist for the very purpose of ensuring our elected officials follow the law as required.
As in the case of the Jesus portrait hung in a public school, the school district will quickly learn how expensive it will be in money and subsequent taxpayer fury when they inevitably lose the case, should they be so foolish as to fight it.
Unless the bible is being studied as part of a literature class, it has no business being "read" in a public school by a public school employee.
