No, its such a small part of my life. The only reason I can think of for atheism being important in someones life is when you want to make a difference, kind of like Richard Dawkins, atheism is a big part of his life because it needs to be. He campagins against the teachings of religion because he sees it as a form of childhood indoctrination and child abuse. He didn't set out to be an atheist. Like with all atheists, it is a side effect of education and consciousness raising where the logical and rational part of your brain overpowers the irrational part. You can look anywhere and find the correlational links between education and religion. What you will find is that generally, the more educated a person is, the less likely they are to be religious. Of course, correlation does not imply causation so there may be other factors involved.
