Stop thinking in binaries, dude. There is, unfortunately, not a limited supply of atrocities from which secular and religious sources must both draw; crimes sans religious motive don't mean there are less crimes with religious motivations. Unhappily, both co-exist.
Hell, there's a thread in this very forum about a girl that was buried alive for offending a god in some innocuous way; I know you'll rush to point out that it's not your god involved, but that's missing the point, because as far as I can see there isn't any god at all. The harm caused by religion has nothing to do with god, just with religion itself, though one wonders why any extant god would allow itself to be represented the way some folks represent him.
Here's the facts: anyone causing harm in god's name is doing it for nothing.
