There is no double standard. Theists are not treated any differently from the other godless heathen, at least at the staff level. For fuck's sake, there have been xtians among the staff, and one of the admins is muslim. How you get treated out here in the public arena, of course, is up to you. To that end, if you ever have a problem with what you think are attacks or indeed anything you feel breaches the rules, report it. Shit, just PM me if you like. I've somehow garnered a reputation for fairness of sorts, at least when it comes to my official duties. Use me, while I'm still here. As long as it doesn't tickle or make me fall over, anyway.
Please stop whining. It's getting boring and I'm getting a headache. You wouldn't like me when I have a headache.
What do you mean, while you're still here?
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
