Drich, perhaps - just perhaps - if you got your arse out of your hands, stopped seeing 'witch hunts' where none exist, and actually started expressing yourself clearly, with all the deference you would expect others to show you, then maybe people wouldn't react to you the way they do.

Just take a look in some of the other threads talking about Star Wars or whatever, in which you unclench your sphincter and actually engage with the community as a normal person. See, you can do it. That's the Drich I would happily spend an evening with at the pub, not the arsehole you present here.

I'm the same asshole no matter what I am taking about. (just ask my wife) Same passion, same conviction, Same attention to detail, the only difference? Your not as vested in the out come of a Star _______ (war, trek, Gate, etc.) Discussion as you are in the topics concerning Christianity. So what if i am right about Luke being the choosen one, and Truly bring balance to the Force. It may even be fun to hear a different perspective, or to have someone connect the same dots a different way, to provide a completely different picture than what you are use to seeing. Why? It does not change anything in your life (this one or the next.)

Now if and when I apply my gift to christianity and the things about God did not make sense when view through the lens of your orginal version of Christianity, (leading to your eventual dismissal of it) now do make sense when I reconnect the same dots in a different way, then the pressure of 'conviction' is applied. Not by me, because again I honestly do not care what you choose for yourselves, (I respect the Choice God gave you to make in this life, more so than what you choose for yourself, as does He)
so i do and always have taken extra care in wording what I say to make you not feel bad for the choice you make concerning Christ. Never the less some sense of persecution is always felt when one of you ultimatly responds, and the messenger is the easiest to blame. especially when the message itself is difficult to argue.

This results in alot of hurt feelings and resentment= in no forum friends for Drich. Which is something I am more than willing to give up, even if just one of you d-bags at the end of my time here gets enough out of all of this to change his/her eternal fate. Even if none of you do I still respect the Choice you were given.

Everyone burned witches. Indians burned anyone suspected of being a witch as well. Christians get hammered for it because of the irony in it. which is what I am establishing here.

I think you'll find it wasn't atheists that demanded a pound of flesh but a Jew - who was forced to convert to Christianity at the end of the play (what a giant leap forwards for him).

Again establishing the irony of the situation here. If atheist are so far above and beyond the righteousness of various generations of 'goat hearders' then why are they/you doing these very same things?

All of which means - no deed was done. You are very strong on assigning malicious intent on those that disagree with you but not on your God and his actions.
