There was IMO only one question which clearly misrepresented what the Bible was saying in the passage cited. It was not #15 which is quite correct in saying that the Bible never mentions the brain and which does acknowledge the modern metaphor of heart = emotions.

The word "heart" in the bible was not used in the modern sense of "emotion" because it is depicted as having thoughts, intentions, and imaginations. The emotions were usually considered to be in the kidneys (see below).

My point is that emotions are not in any of our musscles they're in the brain - yet in our culture we count them as coming from the heart, and that in essence is the same as with cultures in Biblical times which had the heart as generating thoughts. Just like the heart cannot create emotions, nor can it think.

So everyone who buys one of these for instance is an unbelivable idiot?



Why don't they sell get-well cards with a brain in place of the heart????
