So would you like it then if I said your country presents itself as goat herder towel heads? no? then stfu. We all know the extreme is not the norm and the extreme is what makes TV. As for blaming mE for what Americans as a whole did or didn't do: seems a bit asinine to me. I barely remember that day and no one was 'partying' besides the media. I could just as easily blame you for what the scientifically handicapped clerics proclaim nationally throughout Turkey, but I don't.

TV is not controlled in order to portray an image to anyone. No one in Hollywood gives a shit about anything besides making money. I for one wouldn't want the censorship that Japan and China or North Korea have.

Well, you'd be wrong, because thats not how we represent ourselves throughout the world, or at least in our area of influence, that is the Balkans, Central Asia, Caucasus Area and the Middle East.
Besides, with all the influence you have all you managed to do is to represent yourselves in a negative light. There is no one in the whole world that can say anything positive about the US of A, and that's not because of the wars, I tell you, in that case, people would just target your policies, we're talking about the people, and from what I see in your movies, TV series and whatever I see on the internet, I can say only that much about you. Besides, I'm not blaming you really, blaming someone would mean that I am somewhat affected negatively by this. Your image in the world does not really affect our image, neither does our image somewhat affect your image, so what are you blaming me for? Blame yourself for allowing this misrepresenation(that you claim to exist) to continue.

Since we have no means of representing ourselves in the US, neither by media, nor by a sizable community, anything you could say would be null and void. But you do, and we see America every day on our TV's, or on various places on the internet. If you think that you're misrepresented, you should blame your media. I can't blame your media, since its your media, and you ought to be telling them to stop showing Americans in the way I described above.
Meaning, you should control your media.

Besides, being a towel headed goat herder is not something to be ashamed of. It's honest labour, and sadly, a dying tradition.
