Because I can't find a naturalistic explanation to account for the eyewitness testimony of the Apostles.

What a VERY strange thing for a religious person to say. VERY strange indeed. Think about it. That actually means that, what is supposed to be a relationship with (the person of) his god, is no such thing at all, but instead really "discounted" to an explanatory (knee jerk) mental habit, secondary to a explanation he NEEDS, (to be comfortable). One would think that once the hurdle of belief/non-belief was overcome, the central, and most important fact of religious life would be the *proof* of the (religious) experience of the relationship. Fascinating. I have always thought it's about Psychology, (and *need* or "low ambiguity tolerance") and not really religion.

BTW, "testimony" about what ? Philo of Alexandria's Jesus (supposedly) lived and died for sin, and rose in three days a few years before Yeshua ben Josef, as did Simon of Perea, and Jesus of Gemala.
