You ppl are gutless wonders!
Your 95% atheist majority and lamer mods esqspaz and napolio are pathetic!
You compromise free speech for ego and inferiority complex vanity and ban what? Words?
Cowards.!!!
What gutless wonders that you can't even cope with a few simple posts from savedwheat?
You rep up+ jacobschmooz and kiss ass when some pathetic obsequious 'kristian' kisses your anus and apologetically begs you to be his best friend. And you ban a real free thinker who says stuff your fragile ego can't cope with.

So dear Lion IRC is claiming defeat? He can't handle atheists and their logical arguments? And because of his inability to posit a reasonable argument we are the ones who are "gutless wonders"
So disappointing his faith must be lacking.

I find his lack of faith... Disturbing.

Why do you care that another user got banned? It's not your issue. For what it's worth I actually think you contribute quite well here, even if I do find your arguments total bollocks. I'm actually very disappointed you would leave over something like this.
As for your claims we banned him because 'we couldn't cope'. No. Just no. Not only was he an obvious troll, who refused to have a proper discussion, he was a sock account of a previously banned user. I can share with you the IP if you like just to prove that fact:
(removed)
As you can see, the IP matches the user envolve, who was banned years ago. Which in and of itself is justification for an immediate ban.
So, just to set the record straight, we were perfectly justified in banning him, not that we should have to justify ourselves for banning a complete jackass anyway.

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

What a VERY strange thing for a religious person to say. VERY strange indeed. Think about it. That actually means that, what is supposed to be a relationship with (the person of) his god, is no such thing at all, but instead really "discounted" to an explanatory (knee jerk) mental habit, secondary to a explanation he NEEDS, (to be comfortable). One would think that once the hurdle of belief/non-belief was overcome, the central, and most important fact of religious life would be the *proof* of the (religious) experience of the relationship. Fascinating. I have always thought it's about Psychology, (and *need* or "low ambiguity tolerance") and not really religion.
BTW, "testimony" about what ? Philo of Alexandria's Jesus (supposedly) lived and died for sin, and rose in three days a few years before Yeshua ben Josef, as did Simon of Perea, and Jesus of Gemala. With no records, videos, notes, newspapers, or anything AT ALL, 50 years later, in an age when *pious fraud* was the (self-admitted) rule,

One can only hope you're gone. You showed a spark of intelligence once, on TTA when you argued about St. Paul, (or whatever that was), but proved in the end, you didn't have it. Savedwheat came from Bibicality, (or whatever it's called). He's no "free-thinker". He's yet another run-of-the-mill *end-timer* Jebus-is-coming-soon'er. There is not one thing "free" or unique about his thinking, (and calling it "thinking" is being generous). It's typical American branded (literal) Fundamentalism. At least European Christianity can be a little interesting, and literary. Hebrew and early Christian literature used irony, metaphor and most other literary devices to get across their points. Idiot literal uneducated American literalist Fundamentalists are SO fucking ignorant of world literature in general, unless something is literally true, it cannot contain "truths". Fools. They cut off their noses to spite their faces.
Every religion is true one way or another. It is true when understood metaphorically. But when it gets stuck in its own metaphors, interpreting them as facts, then you are in trouble. - Joseph Campbell

I can't speak for anyone else here, but I'm more fond of Jacobsmooth than Savedwheat because, even though they're both Christians, Jacobsmooth is actually intelligent. Trust me, I'd be mocking an idiot atheist if he came in here, too.

Happy birthday, BadWriterSparty.
I can't say I'm surprised by Lion's announcement. His persecution bullshit was becoming more shrill and annoying by the day. What a whiny little pussy!
