If we do not believe in the Jesus of yesterday then what makes you think you'd believe in the Jesus of today?
Because all we have of the jesus of yesterday is largely inaccurate accounts of hearsay recorded by anonymous authors, given to us through copies of copies of copies. This way I would have soemthign far more credible to put my faith into.,
