I agree that I am part of the cosmos. And I have a model of the cosmos in my mind. I am connected to the cosmos but it doesn't mean I am the cosmos. The sun is the sun and I am here on earth. The sun shines on me but it doesn't mean I am the sun. What's your point?
But you are the sun, its part of your body, without the sun you wouldn't be here, without the earth you wouldn't be here, and on and on it goes, right back to the so called beginning.
