That statement works both ways. I've never claimed to have evidence that you would believe, what I have claimed is there is evidence to believe in God if you want it. I've not been given the ability to give the evidence, the evidence comes through God by the Holy Spirit, if you want it you will need to travel a narrow road and carry a receptive heart.

I was a very devout believer, as many otthers were, and we searched and searched, prayed and prayed, but nothing.
Please don't play the "you didn't try hard enough" or "you weren't a real Christian" cards because those, too, are copouts.
