According to the Bible, the FIRST being created by "God" was Adam. This means that there were NO OTHER CREATURES alive on the planet before this deity supposedly created man. And this supposedly took place less than 10,000 years ago. Then how can they account for the plethora of fossilized creatures that we KNOW existed many MILLIONS of years ago? According to these twits, man had to live at the same time as dinosaurs! The stupidity of such a position is beyond absurd. Be prepared for the morons to challenge the accuracy of scientific dating methods. You can then throw at them the fact that a variety of dating methods all agree on the age of fossils, rocks, etc.. Some of these dating methods include:
Potassium-Argon Dating
Argon-Argon Dating
Rubidium-Strontium Dating
Samarium-Neodymium Dating
Lutetium-Hafnium Dating
Rhenium-Osmium Dating
Carbon-14 Dating (and I'll bet your idiot friends think this is the only one)
How could ALL of these dating methods be so horribly inaccurate that they would show things that are only a few thousand years old (if we are to believe the creationist morons) to be many millions of years old? I must also mention that scientific dating places the age of the planet at 4.5 billion years. Your dopey friends believe it is really only 10,000 years. This is on the same scale as our instruments measuring the distance from NY to LA as 3,000 miles and your creationist friends claiming that the actual distsance is only 35 FEET! Need I say more?
