Thoughts? Yeah, it's a pantload. First of all, whoever made this talks about how many species there are NOW. There were obviously MANY MORE species around at the alleged time of Noah. But let's go with their "estimate" that there were only 50,000 animals on the ark. What they don't address in this video (surprise, surprise) is how only EIGHT people could possibly care for 50,000 animals!
Now, obviously every animal doesn't require care every day. So let's say that, on average, only 20% of the animals are cared for each day. This means that 10,000 animals must be fed, watered and cleaned up after each day. Divide that figure by 8 and each person on the ark is caring for 1,250 animals every day. Now, we assume that each person on the ark has to eat, sleep and care for themselves each day. Let's say this all takes up 10 hours. This leaves 14 hours for each person to care for their 1,250 animals. This means that each person is feeding, watering and cleaning up after 89 animals EVERY HOUR. This is one animal every 40 seconds! Nonstop for 14 hours! Is it realistic to think that a person could keep up a pace like this? And don't forget! This time also includes schlepping the food and water! Not to mention cleaning up waste and disposing of it! THIS IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE!
Science flies us to the moon and stars. Religion flies us into buildings.
God allowed 200,000 people to die in an earthquake. So what makes you think he cares about YOUR problems?
