I don't really know. I don't have any LGBT friends so I don't know what problems they have on a day to day basis in England. But I am sure any LGBT person who is in a religious family has a large rucksack full.
In the UK most people are pretty apathetic about religion anyway. I think it's a lot to do with the weather. Religions don't catch on in a big way. The catholics couldn't get a foothold. We invented CofE because catholicsm was too hard. That's why we are not too worried about Muslims, give them 20 years or so and their kids will be watching porn and junk Tv and drinking beer and integrating just fine...lots of them already are that's why the fundies are so frightened...sorry I have digressed..this Mud City Stout is good stuff

It's not immoral to eat meat, abort a fetus or love someone of the same sex...I think that about covers it
