Reminds me a a question to the StraightDope years ago. I paraphrase:

Question: Do any animals besides humans have sex just for pleasure?

Answer: Strictly speaking animals only have sex for pleasure. Only humans have sex in order to have babies.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god.  If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.
