When I moved to Edmonton, Alberta between grades 10 and 11 I was hugely recruited by 2 schools. One was a top end football (american football ha) school with like 2/3 provincial championships in the past 5 years and the other was an also ran that was almost last in the league every year. I chose the also ran since the "top end" school was a christian school. I knew I'd never graduate from the "top end" school since I would never never never pass the religion class since I spend the entire time making fun of the "teacher" for his bs. I seriously CANNOT believe that it is still allowed in "first world" countries to have schools full of mere propaganda for an invisible sky god.
The world will be a better place when all religion is relegated to the status of Egyptian Gods (interesting factoids in history). I hope to see the day, although I likely won't live that long
