Just a pro tip, and I think it's really weird that I'm having to give you preaching tips, but...
Maybe it's not a good idea to be bringing up Sodom in a discussion about sex and divinity. Because, see, when I remember the story of Sodom, I also remember the part of it where the one holy, good man in the town, who was down with god, offered his virgin daughters up to gang rape. I wouldn't bring up Sodom in reference to sex because all that tells me is that free, consensual sex is a no-no for god, but that one can facilitate gang rape and still be righteous.
