No it isn't. That is the first time I have ever seen anyone complaining about the issue and the article was clearly written by a black guy with serious prejudice, it was full of buzzwords.
I guess you don't pay much attention to the humanist movements in America then as this issue has mostly been stated by Caucasian atheists in America fearing a lack of connection with the minority groups. Some of us actually like to pay attention to how atheism is evolving in that nation.
