Hence the 3$ sneakers sell for 75$. If the labor was paid double the total production cost of the sneakers for each pair that would be a price hike of 3$, assuming the producer pushed that cost off to consumers. so, a 78$ pair of sneakers, with an employee who's quality of life has just doubled. I think that the 72$ left over after paying for the labor is enough to cover raw materials - promotion, and plenty more. 70-some odd dollars on a (lets say) 10$ investment is a damned fine rate of return.
LOL, Blade, I'd say we already -are- living in a utopia.....but it's not exactly a utopia built for human beings...hehehehe. I mean ffs, 700% and people are worried that business just won't make it, or will have a rough time of it- if we have to bring the laborer up out of bondage?
