A black guy approached me on the street the other day giving me the advice of never letting my phone out of my sight. Which I already knew anyway.
He told me a story about him coming to England from a pretty bad part of Africa. And he thought because he was in England he could relax more, but someone just ran up to him and snatched his phone, he said he was even more surprised because it was a white person who did it.
Some people I suppose must have this idea of coming to England being like stepping into a Mary Poppins musical.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
