It is not enough to look into the Qur'an to declare Islam a peaceful religion. You have to evaluate if weather or not the people practicing Islam are peaceful.
You can well say that Helen was a beautiful and peaceful person in the Troy context, but she caused everyone around her to be unpeaceful and she caused a major war also. So when it comes to peace in the world you don't want to find a peaceful book, you want to find the source of unrest and destroy it! That does not apply to Helen.
And the truth is that the source of unrest occurs around Islamic countries. It may be a coincidence of course, maybe the unrest is political and they use Islam to propagate it, but we can't be sure.
