Clinton was impeached for obstruction of justice and perjury.

Yep. That's what the GOP was able to get to stick after six years of near constant investigations. They ask him about his personal sex life and he lied and that's what they got him for. I don't know about you, but I'm not crazy about talking about the details of who I'm boinking and if I'm having an affair, I REALLY don't want to talk about that when I know its details are going to be on the front page of every newspaper.

If that's the best they could dig up on Clinton after all that time, money and effort trying to dig something up, I think he was probably more honest than most politicians. Hell, put Dubya under oath and ask him about pre-war Iraq intelligence, pre-9/11 intelligence reports or pre-Katrina weather reports and you'll be able to find a dozen things that we could have impeached him over and his lies resulted ni people getting killed. All that came from Clintons' lies was a stained dress.

The GOP never asked Clinton about his sex life. Clinton was asked and perjured himself in a civil lawsuit brought against him by former Arkansas government employee Paula Jones who was suing Clinton for sexual harassment.

The inaccuracy of your posts suggests you have succumbed to history as re-written by the liberal left. They want you to think Clinton got impeached over a "blow job"....That he lied a congress asking question they had no right to ask. But Paula Jones certainly had a right to ask those question to Clinton as part of the discovery process in her lawsuit against him. Yes there was some politics behind the impeachment. The republicans were using the Clintons perjury as a whip trying to get him to resign. Clinton wouldn't resign and the republicans had to go forward with the articles of impeachment. They were playing chicken and Clinton didn't flinch.....and neither did the republicans.

And don't blame just republicans for impeaching Clinton. Some democrats voted to impeach him too. The reason those democrats voted to impeach Clinton....is because Clinton committed perjured himself in a civil lawsuit.....not because he got a blow job. A few democrats at the time actually cared about the integrity of the man holding the nation's highest office and decided to rise above politics....and go against their own party and vote to impeach Clinton....because he had committed a crime....not because he got a blow job.

Clinton's license to practice law in Arkansas was suspended for five years. He was disbarred from arguing before the supreme court. He really did commit a crime....only the left wants to give him a pass by saying, "well he lied about a blow job".
