Probably because noone else would understand anyway. My grandfather never talked about the war, which would have been the first one.
True, but I found that talking about made it easier. I stifled a lot for twenty years or so, but then I just decided that if somebody didn't like what I did they could go fuck themselves. Now I say that used to kill people for $247/month, before taxes.
