After the France incident : a Muslim -me- just thinking..

RE: After the France incident : a Muslim -me- just thinking..
Alex k

I understood clearly what both you & chuck meant. If the book dictated that murder is the rightful sentence for mocking somebody, I wouldn't have believed in it in the first place.

That being said ; I'm not brainwashed. I was just assuring that on this one, the book actually agrees that violence is not the answer.
If it said otherwise ? i'll have my doubts in it, probably I'll turn an atheist eventually.

Quote:I think the death toll is something like 99% to 1% against Muslims (or people who's national identity is).

You're right Atlas the west don't report their own atrocities so much. What we need desperately are the peaceful, tolerant and loving element that is in all of us to stand against all of the war mongering hate speech fueled by our media which just happens to be controlled by media moguls who have an interest in conflict to control oil prices.

Lots are killed & buried without a single report on the media ; despite the constant efforts of activists. Wikileaks is one example of an activist cluster that tries to show reality to the public, but the same media agencies that took Blair's & Bush's lies about WMDs as "official truthful words", are avoiding bringing news via Assange or his leaks, let alone any other source that is not controlled by the oil eating fat cats.

Muslim blood became so cheap in that war, that PMCs like "Black Water" were literally roaming Baghdad & shooting civilians for fun, snipers didn't hesitate to shoot any moving thing -including dogs & puppies-. All of this is documented on videos, yet reported minimally or never.

Agreed. Practice what you preach ; ali baba advices you to take your kid out of school.

To give you a small scary list of the Muslim/Muslim clashes currently going now :

#Syria :
1) ISIS vs Nusra (both are branched from Al-Qaeda)
2)ISIS vs FSA (FSA is a nationalistic rebellion movement with islamic flavor)
3)ISIS vs SAA (SAA is considered a Shia army mainly)
4)ISIS vs Hezbollah (Hezbollah is a totally Shia Muslim miltia allied with SSA)
5)Nusra vs Hezbollah
6)FSA vs Hezbollah
7)Lewa abo al fadl al Abbas vs FSA
8)Lewa abo al fadl al Abbas vs Nusra
9)Lewa abo al fadl al Abbas vs ISIS

#Iraq :
1)ISIS vs mostly shia Government +army
2)ISIS vs Kurdish PKK
3)ISIS vs Sunni tribes allied with government

I surly missed other mini-conflicts taking place now.
Most of these info is stuff I know from from local arab media, and actual videos from the Syrian conflict (where you can see all these factions either shooting or burnt dead after a battle).

In these conflicts thousands of thousands of Muslims are dying. Western countries like france traffic & sell weapons to some factions ; for example ISIS has american weapons (for real), while SAA is backed by Russia & Iran, Hezbollah is backed by Iran & Russia too, while FSA makes deals with many parties in Europe & America, the iraqi government totally gets weapons from America.

But nothing is reported ; at the end of the day everything gets so simplified to a cartoon & two islamists.

I don't remember Stalin being a very dedicated worshipper of god, but all i know is that the soviet nationalistic ideas -along with all conception that followed that era- hated god, religion & believed in what lenin said : religion is the opium of society. yet that didn't stop ww2 from happening mmm ?

No mate, i don't see how religion & nationalism mix. Actually I see the church dying, I see islam dying, nationalism killed it all.

Rhythm

I think you're drunk & too poetic for the moment, no, Jihadists usually go out for vengeance not belief ; I know them because I grew up here. If 2 or 3 are dedicated, hundreds of others have scores to settle with the corrupted governments or militaries -like the U.S army which invaded Iraq-.

If you don't know it ; ISIS became stronger than ever when the Iraqi prisons were open -mysteriously-, the guys who were being tortured by Americans & Iraqi government literally formed a crazy core that led to the beheading frenzy that ISIS went through a year ago.

Many of them don't believe. But I advice you to read more about the effect of torture & warfare on people.

Chas

The topic is about the magazine incident, not the Quran.

I don't listen to long beards, Wallace. They twisted the book beyond believe.

I didn't know about this, call me whatever you wanna call me but I never heard of this.

Look, when the topic of the Iraq war arises, it actually concentrates on the fact that the U.S broke every law on earth but it did what it wanted eventually, based on a lie.
I thank all the people who protested, and this would change my view of things for sure.

No, in Iraq most casualties were at the hands of the U.S army directly or PMCs like Black Water. Videos have proved that some soldiers were practice shooting on civilians in large numbers ; wikileaks documented this case :

http://www.collateralmurder.com/

Take it as a rule of thumb : the army with the apaches, drones & airstrikes would cause most of the killing.

Quote:Firstly these are weapons of war used to project power in enemy territory against a well organised and funded opponent who think nothing of shooting up entire schools full of children.

Secondly use of these drones are controversial and under constant scrutiny and discussion.

Quitting labels & dictionary definitions made at the pentagon, to justify a missile launching robot that misses its target lots of time, would be better for your brain & mine.

Drones don't have a good vision, in pakistan & yemen they caused disasters, obama apologized many times so as the military, sorry but you can flush your definition down the toilet ; even the creators of the drones disagree with you : they DO MISS & HIT CIVILIANS.

Didn't you notice that in Syria now, REAL AIRCRAFTS are being used ? drones are not a good way of attack, not a good weapon.

Quote:Here is were you try to justify it. "It was bad BUT"

Justify ? no my dear love I said it over & over, those who carried on the attack deserve to die. They don't even deserve a second chance.

But don't expect an apology, I didn't do it, neither did "Islam" did, neither are "Muslims" are responsible. That's why I used but. I ? I say execute them ; which the french police did.

Quote:They aren't "murderers too" they are just murderers. do not try and equate a slaying in a secular nation of cartoonists with western intervention in Iraq and Afghanistan which were wars.

I personally never understood the justification for the Iraq war and certainly did not approve of it.

But what it wasn't was the deliberate targeting of civilians. The western powers have very strict rules of engagement and when this is not followed there are consequences. This is in stark contrast to the "lets kill as many unarmed people as we can" outlook that seems to be the flavour of the day amongst Jihadists.

Do you have emotions or even a heart ?
Something like the Iraq war -a plunder raid based on tony's & bush's lies to get iraqi oil from saddam-, which caused the death of 2 million people, the arise of a black shadowy ISIS to butcher all, a shia government that waged a civil war against sunna,

dude the american army killed iraq, it wasn't just "a war", it was a terrorist orcish attack that destroyed a whole country just for a pile of gold ! it wasn't a muslim/muslim conflict in iraq at first ; it was american vs freedom fighter defying the invasion.

It was common for american soldiers & black water employees to terrorize the citizens -since all rebels were natives-, scaring the natives meant sniping them, bombing them, raping their families...etc. ! all this was reported but ignored !

I mean MSM showed -live on screen- blair's admission that the WMDs were a coverup ; a lie..You just don't have a heart ?? you don't want me to compare ? how is war is not a terrorist act ? actually any military in the world is a big terrorist organization ; unless you play call of duty !

Just for your info, the first hit in 2003 was called "shock & awe".
To me that's a terrorist label for an operation aimed to terrorize others.

That's terrorism.

And yeah don't forget to open the wikileaks link i posted above. try to listen to Julian Assange on iraq more , too. You'll realize that the pentagon & the CIA are probably the biggest terrorist organization in the world now.

Or maybe listen to an ex soldier ?

Quote:They were all over the news on the front pages. on the TV and internet.

Do you not remember this?

Me ? no.
All I remember was seeing the same report over & over & over about how it is important for america to stay in iraq.
