FCC wants to allow robocalls on your cell phone

My problem is that my number apparently was owned by a deadbeat before I got it, and even now, years later, I still get collection calls - even after I tell 'em "No, I'm not Lydia. Yes, I'm sure. Do I sound like a fucking Lydia to you?"

Bastards. Now I let every unknown number go to voicemail.

That reminds me; my mother got lots of calls for someone named Carl (no last name given) after we got cell phones years ago. Though the number of calls for him steadily decreased with time, I think she still got a call five years (or more) after the fact.

To this day we don't know who "Carl" is, but anytime my mother would ask, the caller would immediately become evasive... O_o

I'm not saying that Carl was actually an alien, but he was probably an alien. Only logical explanation.
