I love it when theists try to say that there is a difference between magic and the fantastic claims of a holy book, any holy book.

No, because that would take away choice. Also, it would mean you would know there's a God and then you would have to make a decision, no more sitting on your hands.

In science, in reality, BOTH choice and others affecting you overlap.
What you are doing without realizing it is nothing more than "I like what I believe, and if everyone would simply buy it, the world would be better"
That is gap filling. It is merely a placebo excuse to justify our tribalism. The alpha male does not like challenge to it's position.
