It's an example of them thinking it's a win win.
Child wants to die to be with jesus or child doesn't want to die but is with Jesus anyway.
1 is false, as you demonstrate from the article which literally infers that she didn't want to die. Point 2 is completely unknowable and thus nothing more than wishful thinking.
What it is is them playing fast and loose with a child's life. It's them shoehorning their beliefs into the gap left by a child's death, invoking a 'success' for belief in Jesus.
It's sick, really sick. Here's a thought, perhaps if they think this is the road to heaven, instead of invoking the death of a girl as evidence, why don't they leap into action and test their beliefs out for themselves?
Emphasis on the leap. What if the 'vision' was from the devil and in fact it wanted the girl to die so told her not to get treatment, thus going against Jesus' desire?
