Ding-Ding-Ding. We have a winner!
Plus, the mainstream christians that I know (and some of whom I love), live in the real world for the most part. They value their present lives here and now on Earth and the lives of others, unlike the fundies who seem to devalue real life and see it merely as a waiting room until they get to go to heaven (where they'll kiss god's ass for all eternity).
The mainstream christians might believe god has a purpose for their Lives (which I think is a delusion), but at least this delusion inspires them to do some good. Mainstream christians would prefer for children and others to be able to live out their lives so that they can pursue their life's purpose; heaven can wait.
I see fundies as full of hate for people who don't share their exact beliefs. It's "my way or the highway (to hell)" with them. I see them as so immoral that they think it's perfectly fine for stupid parents to allow children who have a good shot at living to instead die so they can be with jeeeeeezus. Fundies creep me out.
