Traditional Catholicism: Suscipe Domine
#9
RE: Traditional Catholicism: Suscipe Domine
Some Catholic Guy Wrote:From what I've heard, demons can possess children even before the child is born. That's why the traditional infant baptism ceremony includes an exorcism.

After baptism then the child has sanctifying grace, but I think that a person living in a state of grace can still become possessed. The risk is certainly lower if the person isn't committing personal sin though, and especially if the person isn't engaging in the occult.

Wow.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell
