In December 2010 Rudy Giuliani traveled to Paris to speak at a conference in support of Mujahideen-e-Khalq, an Iranian Marxist group listed on the State Department terror list.
I've not heard the terrorism angle on this particular group before but, either way, it's pointless to support moderate Muslim groups because they have no solid theological foundation to support their beliefs. So, I don't agree with Giuliani on this point.
This might be a desperate grasp to find "moderate" Muslims to support. Just like McCain will die in a ditch to support the Syrian rebels. It's madness. Forget trying to find moderate Muslims. It's futile.
