That goes both ways. In the OT, I could divorce and remarry as I saw fit....in the NT, I would generally not be able to remarry after getting divorced.
There goes that picking and choosing verses again. Sorry, but if your god from the OT is still the same god from the NT then your argument is invalid. I see nothing in the bible that states that the laws from the OT have been amended. According to the bible, all sin is equal. If you believe in "The Word" then you need to believe in ALL of it and not just the parts you think apply to your life at any given moment.
