Mormonism defies categorization, and for God's sake, don't ask a Mormon anything complicated about their doctrine or beliefs. The are famously confused and befuddled about their history and even cursory examination of the history of their revelations and doctrines will make your head spin.
Spirit bodies, marriage for time, marriage for eternity, God's curse(s) upon the Hamites (blacks, Asians, Latinos etc), Baneemy, magic underwear, Kolob, etc., Mormonism is filled with crap they cannot explain coherently, and they are famously unconcerned about their befuddlement.
If you profess sincere belief in Joseph Smith's hand written account of his First Visitation you get excommunicated. Try and get a coherent explanation for that!!
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
