Oh, no, it isn't relevant. I was just acknowledging that it isn't, while making the point that his argument about thermodynamics and entropy is an argument for deism and not a particular religion.
In my friend's case, he knocks on people's doors on Saturday mornings to tell them about "the good news". How he gets from e=mc² to that, I have no idea.
