What if off in the universe he has a fuckload of other planets to deal with with ALIEN life forms that need MORE help and experience MORE suffering AND - it's just too much for him to deal with...
Like I said he could be incompetent ....or atleast not omnipotent...he could be relatively amazing but have so much to fucking deal with that he can't do it all....and he's gotta have SOME priorties.
There's only evidence against a GOOD personal God that's ALSO capable of helping us...not against an Evil/neutral/stupid/chaotic/mad/callous/just plain incompetent personal God - as I have said.

The point is you're able to make the case against a personal God based on evidence. The evidence being he doesn't talk to you or make his presence known in any real way. There's more substance to that argument than saying "God did not create the universe", or even that he does not exist, which is a fallacy because you do not know what caused existence to occur (and for all intents and purposes, we'll probably never know).
