"works without faith is dead"? That's in the same category as "swiss cheese for alternating current extols virtues". But seriously, this person has been damaged by religion and has either become unable to think coherently on the matter, or more optimistically is repeating this nonsense like a mantra, using it as a shield out of fear of losing faith.
