I don't get the semi auto thing for hunting. I have semi autos in .22 caliber. But for hunting, I'm a die hard bolt action guy. I know that I'm not taking a shot that I'm not certain of, and I'm not going to send half a dozen rounds in the general direction of my prey. And I like to control the ejection of my brass so I see where it lands. And the bolt action is more powerful and more accurate. Call me old fashioned, I guess.
But how do you feel about killing animals for deliciousness?

End result - 2 rifles. The .450 cost me slightly under $650 - and shoots sub MOA out to 200 yards. ( so far). The more expensive Ruger is unlikely to do better.
Your objection?
Meh, I just don’t get the killing of animals for fun. It’s a personal opinion. To each their own.

We do not inherit the world from our parents. We borrow it from our children.
