I understanding the C of E has been suffering from diminishing numbers for decades.Even Dawn French has been unable to help,with her wonderful parish of halfwits,misanthropes and sexual deviates.(Dibley)
Here in Oz, a full 8% of our population claims to attend church regularly.
Mmmm,no.
Look at the religious history of say the Dutch,the Danes, and the Swedes. Yet today they are among the most secular nations. I'm convinced there is a direct link between secularism to affluence and education.
It seems to me that the greater the depth of dogmatic fundamentalism,the greater the depth of poverty and ignorance.
