The Death and Resurrection of Christ?

I'd like to add that the story of Jesus is plagiarized in parts. It's not even a 100% original story.

That's a lie.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

And you know that because you read it in your fucking bible, right?

Might be better off starting with information like this and proceeding from there???

No I don't think so. I can seen no untruth or intention to deceive.

The at least two writers we call Paul of Tarsus invented and simply changed so much of Christianity that it could accurately be called "Paulism".

The second sentence especially is actually true, and if anything, more than a little understated. Christianity is a highly derivative religion, with few original ideas, in its mythology, moral coded or theology.

I concede the triune god is an interesting take on a vaguely Hindu concept.

In addition to all the good reasons already given, consider the reliability or a death certificate back then. Was the coroner that pronounced him dead certified or at least highly qualified? So even if anyone named Jesus ever lived and did anything like what the person named Paul said he did (if Paul even existed), you still have to wonder whether he was well and truly dead.

Or just check the bible and see what it says there. But if that's your choice why even bother?

That's a lie.

It is a more complete synthesis, to consider the Christ a simulated embodiment of Holy Spirit. The resurrection of the Christ in you, the death that of the sinful body.

Please provide evidence in support of your assertion.

Otherwise you have no argument.... again.

More like Sol worship house, with the names changed to hide the guilty.

Since you mentioned the Bible let's take the story as given. Pilate called in the solider over the crucifixion and asked him if Jesus was dead, a Roman solider does not lie about such things it would cost him his life. The Romans were very good at crucifixion and would not let anyone off a cross that was still alive. But I know how it is, you want me to believe Jesus to be the only one to escape death on a cross out of the tens of thousands that were crucified. Well I not so foolish as to believe that are you?

No, the bible is not going to be taken as a "given"

That's the point of the thread, for you to provide evidence outside of the bible.

Using the bible to support the bible counts as circular reasoning.
