They totally ignore their own dogma that God is the creator of the entire universe, Heaven, Hell, and everything. Not to mention the fact that if he's all-powerful, he could abolish hell and make everyone go to heaven, or at least not torture the "bad" people.
adding to this, it say's that god hates the sin not the sinner. So why not eliminate the sin and not the sinner. If god loves everyone then everyone should go to heaven right? but then again. God made the earth supposedly, so he's the one that put the tree of knowledge (which is ironic in itself, you would think that knowing this would get christians to realize God does not want you to think) in the garden with supposedly to new human lifes that really don't know jack from shit. tells them not to eat from the tree. that is like putting candy infront of a 1 year old saying you better not take that. and the 1 year takes it and gets punished for taking it. the 1 year old had no idea what he was doing wrong such as the story of adam. And i don't know how any woman who likes their rights would ever be a christian knowing the verse that says " and eve was made for adam" the fact that god already said that women was a mans property.

They believe all this, all the while trying to explain to us that the bible isn't sexist.
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.

Cmon, they don't actually believe their text, just the bits they like. I can say that with complete certainty, to every single believer of every single faith. Were it not so, there would be no such thing as apologetics (or denominations)...in any faith, of any kind, anywhere.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I couldn't care less what they believe. Or why. They can believe all they like afaic.
The problems start when they act on it.

I like how the bible punishes men for raping an unwed virgin with a fine and a marriage (to the victim) because raping a woman is the acat of shaming a man's honor and the pennance must be paid in full to the victim's father, brother, or other male relative.
... real progressive view of women, bible.
If today you can take a thing like evolution and make it a crime to teach in the public schools, tomorrow you can make it a crime to teach it in the private schools and next year you can make it a crime to teach it to the hustings or in the church. At the next session you may ban books and the newspapers...
Ignorance and fanaticism are ever busy and need feeding. Always feeding and gloating for more. Today it is the public school teachers; tomorrow the private. The next day the preachers and the lecturers, the magazines, the books, the newspapers. After a while, Your Honor, it is the setting of man against man and creed against creed until with flying banners and beating drums we are marching backward to the glorious ages of the sixteenth centry when bigots lighted fagots to burn the men who dared to bring any intelligence and enlightenment and culture to the human mind. ~Clarence Darrow, at the Scopes Monkey Trial, 1925
Politics is supposed to be the second-oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first. ~Ronald Reagan

Damnit, if only that was the way we do things today huh. I could go out and rape a real hotty, and she couldn't do anything but marry me. SWEET.

well technically "god" raped Mary when she was like 12 to 14 years old. So if you really believe in the text rape and child molestation is cool. hmm. i would rather just believe in satanism if i had to believe in something because at least he's honest about his anti morals and not trying to make them seem justified.
