It cannot float! Wooden ships built by highly experienced builders with good materials available to them built ships at 350ft and guess what? They had to be scrapped. The hull couldn't take the force being pressed down on it. The hull buckled. Wooden ships at 450ft with reinforced iron beams also suffered structural failer. They required constant pumping. There are physical limitations.
So a 450ft ship weighing effing tons surviving brutal 150 days of sea travel is impossible. It's not possible. NO matter what you believe. The ship cannot float. If you think it can, build one and prove it. No iron or steel supports. Just wood. Because I'm pretty sure Noah didn't have access to either of those metals. Also that 450ft boat being built, it's got steel supports to hold it together. I guess they know it won't float without them. They aren't very confident in Noah's ark without the assistance of steel are they.
I think they should build it the way it was built and with the right materials. Not using modern technology.

Well, Miracle 2 and 3 have been explained by creationists: apparently, Noah would have had fewer specimens on board because he only brought one of every "kind." Just what entails a "kind" has never been satisfactorily explained, but apparently it is the creationist equivalent of cladistics. However, this leads to what would be yet another miracle:
Miracle 18: All the "kinds" managed to not just be fruitful and multiply, but to evolve into all the modern species of the world within the space of less than 4000 years.

Sure, its quite plausable, I mean Noah was only around 500 years old when he built this ship out of gopher wood with primitive tools. Then after the flood fresh water became fresh again, and all of the salt the that oozed into the land simply faded away so that noah could almost instantly start growing grapes to make wine. Noah lived to be 900 some odd years old...and all blacks, chiinese, nordic, native Americans, etc...all evolved from Noahs family.

The man used modern techniques and steel to create this boat. Thanks GC for presenting evidence that it STILL cant be done even in this modern day.

And I take it these 20ft fleas are invisible and only those who believe in them can see and hear them? I love that argument! So funny.
My great granddad built a 450ft foot wooden ship and it sailed perfectly well with no structural failer. He used nothing but wood, here let me prove it with this 450ft Wooden ship... with lots of steel supports....
Never mind that he never used steel.
Never mind that there is no evidence his ship ever existed. Never mind that science says such a ship built of such material would greatly exceed it's physical limitations.
Never mind that wooden ships built of smaller sizes suffered structural failer.
Creationists....crazy as fuck and are so delusional they are way out of touch with reality.

In Noah's day, the society was actually technologically advanced to the point where Noah could contain two zygotes of each species in test tubes in optimal condition for 40 days and nights, then let them continue to form into full grown animals after the flood was gone.
God is a personification of ourselves, what we wish to be, and that which we do not understand.

That's one fucked up website. I typed in 'atheist' and what complete nonsense it gave me. They really don't like the actual definition of atheism do they?
Retarded isn't a good enough word to describe them, nor the word subhuman.
Total idiots.
I'll stick to RationalWiki.
