RE: Anyone else feel how Christian biased history taught at school is?

We were taught much about the Roman Empire, Vikings, Crusades and ect., pretty much about many ages but, I was a history nut and took many classes that were not required. If that history is not being taught today it's a loss for our kids.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

But they skipped spelling and basic wordprocessing?
It seems endemic with you godlovers.

The devil is in the details, min. Undoubtedly his history didn't say anything about what a crock of shit christainity had been in each of the eras he mentioned, nor does it contain any era or region about which christainity has nothing to say.

Give the man some credit. His spelling and word processing isn't nearly so bad that he can't prove in writing just how ignorant he is about many things other than spelling and word processing.

There is often bias in history. We're working on that, taking a more rigorous approach (an improvement from the old "somebody wrote down that somebody said" method).
Min..lol, the rest of you, they still teach world history.

What parts?
And, of course, how?
And, more importantly, what parts not?

Neither did mine but at least I learned about the Roman empire and its fall. True, they then tended to concentrate on the church's alleged efforts to continue literacy and skipped over the viler parts of xtian expansion in Europe.
Reality is always different from whatever is found in one history book but they used to teach the basics. Now, we get results like this.

Yeah. He might have studied the period of Julius Caesar and Augustus in the Roman Empire, and the Battle of Hastings, but they're not going to teach you the period of Constantine to Theodosius in the roman Empire or Olaf I and II in Norway which would make kids see Christianity for what it truly is.
