Well it doesn't matter what you would have him do. You're not in charge of the Hebrew God. They had already created him in their mythology.
So it was the ancient Hebrews who decided what God's righteousness should be, and it is also them who have created a God who far less righteous or benevolent than many mortal men including myself.
In order for these fables to be true, this God would necessarily need to punish me for merely not believing that an all-wise all-benevolent creator could be that cruel, heartless, and unrighteous.
The very reason I reject the Hebrew myths is because they demand that their God is indeed unrighteous.
So their God would need to punish me for not believing that God is that big of a jerk.
In other words, the Hebrew God would need to prove to me that I was right by becoming preciously the unrighteous jerk that I reject.
If you can't see the utter contradiction in that, then there's no hope for you.
But then again, I seriously doubt that you'll ever see the absurdities in this religion. You're rather just pretend they don't exist, evidently.
There is not way the Biblical God could justify being more cruel to me, than I would be to anyone else. For him to do so, would only prove that he is a less benevolent being than myself.
And you can't have a "God" going around proving to people that he's less righteous and benevolent than they are.
That's utterly insane.
It's just a hateful man made cult that can't possibly be true.
The God of this religion would need to be far less benevolent than a mere mortal man like myself. Thus it must necessarily be false. Period.
There can be no other explanation.
You simply can't have a supposedly "righteous" God going around condemning decent loving people for merely not believing that he's a hateful jerk.
If he actually behaved that way all it would do is prove that those people were clearly right all along.
A religion that is based on a hateful jealous God is an oxymoron.
You can be absolutely
guaranteed that it's a man-mad scam.
No shadow of a doubt needs to remain.

How stupid to you think people are that they should believe such utter nonsense.
The reason I reject the Hebrew picture of God is because it portrays and ignorant hateful God who only knows how to solve problems using extreme violence, and even that never works for him according to these fables.
So what you are suggesting is the following:
1. God isn't as ignorant, violent, and hateful as the Bible makes him out to be.
2. Satan has 'lured' me into hell by making the bible appear this way to me.
3. This supposedly omniscient God is STUPID enough to think that would be my fault?
How can you not see how utterly insane that would be?
First off, what I am rejecting is ignorance, violence, stupidity, and hate.
I'm not rejecting anything "good". On the contrary I reject the Bible precisely because it's
not "good"
So you expect me to believe that Satan has created this false illusion of a hateful God so that I'll reject God.
Moreover, you expect me to believe that this God is so STUPID that he doesn't even realize that what I would actually be rejecting is a false image created by Satan.
So you thing it would be righteous for this God to "punish" me for rejecting ignorance, violence, stupidity, hatred, male-chauvinism, etc.
He's going to punish me for rejecting all these evil things, and believing that if there exists an all-wise, all-benevolent creator that creator should actually be all-wise and all-benevolent?
You have got to be totally insane.
All this supposedly "all-wise" and omniscience God would need to do is say to me, "Well of course I don't blame you for rejecting the biblical picture as you saw it. I'm nothing at all like that. I can't blame you for rejecting such ignorance, violence and stupidity because I'm not like that. I reject all those horrible things too!"
And God would lift me up and place me on the same level with Jesus.
God would have to confess to me that the Bible is a horrifically false document that is very poorly written and grossly misleading.
He certainly couldn't condemn me for refusing to worship such ignorance and violence.
In fact, if he did condemn for that very thing, that would only prove that the biblical picture of God as an ignorant unwise fool is perfectly correct.
So it makes no sense.
The only way this God can be as evil as you Christians demand is indeed if he is that evil.
But an evil God is not a benevolent righteous God.
So make up your stupid minds.
Is your God evil or good.
If he's evil then he's not a God, he's a demon.
If he's good, then the Bible can't be a correct portrait of him.
So if you believe in a "good" God you really need to trash the Hebrew myths and find a better picture of spirituality to believe in.
That's the problem with the Hebrew myths is that they demand that their God is evil, unrighteous, and completely untrustworthy.
That's not a God, that's a demon.
