I never claim so, the existance of the supreme being was mentioned in all the holy books given to Moses, Jesus and Mohammad. Human worshiped fire, sky, sun, stone and inanimate thing thinking they were the supreme being. Then came the Holy Book to warn human not to worship the creation, worship the Creator instead that is the supreme being.

Yes, people worshiped silly things. People continue to worship silly things. The abrahamic god is among those silly things.

Anyhoo, the Islamic scientists of the middle ages were more advanced Than their eropean counterparts who were stullified by the chrsitianity, however 'what have they done for us lately' as Janet Jackson would've said. The main thrust of Islam at the mo seems to be to retard the advance of humanity not advance it

I'm sure if a Sheikh spoke to him in detail he would of accepted Islam.

Atleast thise inanimate things actually existed, unlike a creator.
